The powder coating process is VERY environment friendly!! . . . virtually pollution free!
Only
very minute amounts of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are released
into the atmosphere. Unlike when using liquid paints, there are no
hazardous chemical solvents used and there is no excess paint sludge or
residue in need of disposal. Petroleum, latex and other harmful
substances associated with traditional paints are not released into the
environment.
Unused or over sprayed powder is
contained within the production area and can be recovered, and reused if needed so that any
waste is minimal and can be disposed of easily and safely.
Furthermore, because the resulting products are so durable, powder
coating ensures the longest possible life of whatever if being painted.
Long-term use means less wasted resources and less "junk" in the
landfill.
